An unlikely band of travelers is recruited to make an important delivery and is unwittingly drawn into a plot to stop the onslaught of a neighboring kingdom's genocidal ruler. Unbeknownst to them, their quest has implications far beyond their kingdom to the celestial realms beyond.
In a land teetering on the edge of darkness, our band of unlikely heroes embarks on a perilous quest for the legendary Book of Death. Guided by the enigmatic Goddess Epi, they are drawn to a hidden fae village, a place of ethereal beauty and ancient secrets. But their arrival coincides with a looming threat: an invasion that could spell doom for the fae and their sacred home.
As defenders of the village, the adventurers must summon their courage and skills to fend off the brutal attackers. Yet, this battle is only the beginning. The journey takes a darker turn as they venture toward the ominous Realm of Death itself. On their way to this shadowy domain, they face unimaginable horrors and soul-chilling challenges. Each step brings them closer to the truth, but also to the brink of their own mortality.
In the bustling capital of Benedictus City, they must gain an audience with the reclusive King Zephyr, whose knowledge of the Book of Death is a closely-held secret.
The search for the Holy Books begins in earnest.
Having found the clues to lead them to the Book of Order, the party ventures west, in the hopes that they can find it before the genocidal King Godfroy of Ironshield and his forces do. But not everyone is who they appear to be, and there are motives at play which could land the Book straight into the hands of the Black Moon, a secret and sinister crime syndicate...or worse.

When they discover that both the Black Moon and a new and dangerous cult are after the Books as well, Daijera, Dalgis, Ekko, Argus, Elia, Sora, and Xezia must pull together despite ever-growing doubts and dubious alliances to get to the Books before the amassing dark forces do. Even after a devastating loss, they must brave mysterious ghost towns, the hidden lands of the Storm Elves, and even the domain of the Goddess Hohn Herself to succeed in their quest.
