About

I've been writing and creating stories for as long as I can remember.  Even as a child, words were my favorite playmates and my first love.  This relationship led me to a 30-year career as a high school English, Creative Writing, and Speech/ Debate teacher, and my students became my muses. Since 2019, I have dedicated myself to writing as a craft and a career, and now follow my lifelong dream of being a professional novelist.

My love of supernatural and paranormal fiction touches all of my writing, and I am always inspired by folklore from around the world.

I also co-host the UNFREAKINGBELIEVABLE PODCAST with my friends and fellow authors, Betsey Kulakowski and Jenny Simard LaBranche.

I live in Wesley Chapel, Florida with my beloved husband, a daughter who is the sunshine of my existence, and a very chatty calico cat.
